Shadows of Obsession or Love?
Understanding the Transition from Innocent Attention to Stalking
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where what initially appeared as innocent attention turned into persistent stalking under the guise of love?
I’ve encountered this scenario multiple times, and initially, I admit, I enjoyed the attention. It felt flattering to have someone making efforts to impress. Little did I know that what I thought was a lover’s intimate behavior was actually something far more sinister.
My own experiences taught me that what might begin as seemingly innocent efforts to get noticed can quickly turn into something darker — something meant to bother and disturb.
Moreover, I’ve witnessed young girls and boys getting engaged in stalking, thinking it was all in good fun. Many of us have, and it might seem harmless initially. But let’s pause and ask ourselves: Did we engage in stalking to impress or to bother?
Hence, it’s crucial to observe whether stalking occurred as a means of seeking attention or if it intensified after your departure or after a situation.
